Open a ticket we forgot to make it depend from pkg-config. Probably
all the machines testing it had a system instal so we didn’t notice.

I may be missing something, but pkg-config is in local/bin in 6.9-b5 on both
systems, and Sage built successfully on 10.10.5.

Is this unrelated? I don't grok the pkg-config stuff.

Built from tarball on two OS X systems:

On 10.10.5 (Quad-core Core i7), it built w/o problems, and all tests
('ptestlong') passed!

On 10.6.8 (Dual 6-core Xeons), it blew up building brial. The complaint was
"no suitable python interpreter found". The (short) log file is attached. 48
spkgs built. This was the only one with problems.

This system has python 2.6 (on 10.10.5, 2.7 is present, and the default). Not
sure what to do here.

on the system (ubuntu 14.04) it builds ok.
