At a General Body meeting held at the chapel premises at 9.30
a.m., on Sunday, 3rd November, 1991, thirty seven members or

The General Body Meeting meeting under the Chairmanship of Fr.
Roque D"Cruz, the Chaplain, was held at St. Anne’s Chapel on 17th

three wards belonging to the Chapel of St. Anne was Fr. Pedro Gabriel Saldanha,

In 1926, Mr. Marcal de Souza( Donvaddo) celebrated the feast of
St. Anne. On that occasion he offered 2 Images namely that of the Sacred Hearts
of Jesus and Mary to be placed on both side altars in the transept, with two
silver crowns,

Portugues( 1916 and 1920), MURDAVADDI( Murdo-vaddi) means hamlet on the mound or
knoll.. The name of the ward is registered in documents of 27th
March, 1759 of the Comunidades de Saligao as MURDAVADY. Intere
