Erm, I seem to remember the way to do it was to save the file using the name "run" - ie, three letters, lower case. (and obviously using the LINE xx thing as well.) But I could be mistaken (it's been something like 6 years since I last saw a microdrive let alone used one!) d a v e - Original M

If it's a reasonably powerful PC (probably a 166 MMX would be the minimum I suppose) then you could try WinCoupe because it's way better than SimCoupe. But it only runs in Win9x (also Nt and 2000 I think) so if you don't have Windows running on your system then don't bother investigating that ...

I have been clearing out the attic and found my Spectrum and Microdrive . Can anyone tell me the command line to save a programme to microdrive so that it starts up automatically when you hit the RUN key ? I can save and run programmes manually but Ive forgotten how to make it happen automatically.
