It seems that Messenger saves 64k files.
So you have a copy of ZX-ROM in each file.
In our country we call this: "walking around a hot pap"

In other words they (MGT) have no rights to include ZX ROM in Sam's ZX emulator, so they made
a great nothing: Messenger, which copies ROM to Sam.

If you simply loads the rom:
load "zxrom"code 65536
before starting that old very simple emulator provided with Sam, you can then run it and load and run almost any software.
The only problem is tape.
But most of the "protected" tapes work well, as I tried. (If they are in a good condition.)

Can anyone say more about that Messenger Speccy Interface?

Also to clean the yellow off, don't use 'Aceton' (Not sure if that's the English name as well. It's some solvent I've used on one of my Sams) Not only does the yellow disappear but so does the SAM-logo plus the plastic casing itself, if rubbed long enough !

You've got to admit that it looks like an impressive machine though.  Very
good condition (assuming the photos are genuine), and is that a Messenger
Speccy Interface?

Does anyone know if there's a method of removing the yellowing of ages from
a once shiny white Sam?

Cheers,
