I need to tune Samba for maximum throughput.
Our NAS server is used for MPEG2 viteos storage. We stream and copy
files at the same time.
Network is a full gigabit : switch Linksys SRW2016 (jumbo frames
enabled) + category 5e wire
Does anyone has got an idea of which is the theorical
I'm trying to setup a FreeRADIUS (version 1.1.6 w/ LDAP support)
server on our new server here at home, which in turn should
authenticate against the Samba server (also on the same host - version
3.0.25) which in turn uses an OpenLDAP server (CVS version HEAD as of
20070719).

security settings but with any combination the result does not change. We
have also resolved the invalid parameters and module load warnings that was
getting reported in the log
