Hello I have the same setgid inheritance problem, Debian Etch with distro kernel Samba package (2.6.18-5-686 3.0.24-6etch4). When a share is on a XFS partition the setgid bit is not inherited, when the share is on a EXT3 partition it works. Is someone using XFS and setgid? Any ideas? Blaž
