No, could you tell me what flags i need to set in smb.conf? In the
future, how do I figure out what flags should be used by reading the
source code? Is there any document about vfs module?

Does your smb.conf call the appropriate vfs module?

a file, getfattr returns empty. Here is my compilation flags:
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--localstatedir=/var/lib/samba \
--sysconfdir=/et

I am migrating a ubuntu server to a centos one. The ubuntu server is
working and new server even tough it's running I can't join the domain from
a new machine. The new server is not on production so the client (win xp)
is connected via a crossover cable.

Can this be another consequence of smbd deleting the
ntprinters.tdb settings when the cups printer enumeration
does not show a printer anymore?
