add user script = /usr/sbin/useradd -m -G users '%u'
If you have passdb backend = tdbsam and the way
to add users to tdbsam is pdbedit -a -u username,

pdbedit -a -u username (had to do useradd
first). All three appeared in tdbsam as they
should, as verified with pdbedit -L.
But, all three also appeared in /etc/samba/smbpasswd.
This is not a mistake, they were not there before.

ad4 really has that name? You have to set this as the same
name as the netbios name the DC calls itself. You can find
out the name with
nmblookup -A ad4
There you will see a lot of names,
