for the last two weeks ive been trying, to authenticate against a
samba-domain using a win2k3-server. the server joined the domain without
any problem and the basic login seems to work. but if i try to execute
programs from mapped network drive (mapped using a domain-logon-skript),

you seem to be right, If i grant SeDiskOperatorPrivilege rights it
works, But i found that if i do not open any share from the samba
server and open regedit only and access the Samba registry it doesn't
work,

We are running samba services on several solaris10 servers for the users
that need to read reports/logs on their windows workstation. THe shares
are shared read-only and allowed guest account since most of users do
