Has there been any progress on this issue? It's a problem to not be
able to access my shares!
I'm about 80% confident this was fixed in 3.0.23b.

It appears that we are experiencing the same problem - after upgrade to
3.0.23 I cannot access any shares on my Linux systems except for the
home and printer shares. My configuration has not changed since 3.0.22
- it just stopped working.

I'm experiencing problems with access to one of shares on server
with Samba working as PDC for windows clients, after I upgraded
Samba from 3.0.22 to 3.0.23 (this problem also present in
