hi,
i setup a samba-3.0.0-2 server under redhat 9. i added this server to a
win nt 4.0 domain controller. the nt domaincontroller only runs the
following services: wins, dhcp pdc.
nothing more.
/etc/samba/smb.conf:
[global]
workgroup = SCHLICK-ROTO
server string = Server - File
hosts
the
connection to the domain controller. i also didnt remove the server from
our domain controller. why did samba lost the connection to the domain
controller? does anyone have the same problems?

when i try this unter nt 4.0 i cant connect to the share.
is there a max. character length for shares with nt 4.0 clients? it is very
strange because on another nt 4.0 server
