Hello All, I'm new here so I expect to learn a lot using this mail list.
Let's directly to my problem.
I have here 2 servers, one running Apache + php5 + Symfony, and other server
with Samba and nfs.
The web-server mount the data from the samba-server by nfs. there are
developers that
via the desktop.
Are you trying to access samba on the laptop using the ipaddress of
the samba server?
No: I am trying to access it using a file manager.
When I will be back at office, on monday, I will try also using the
ipaddress.

be Domain Admins instead of root, then you can add users to this group
(I suggest to add also root to this group) so that normal users (that do

I have the following problem. I had just added a windows XP Pro machine to a
domain. This process was just fine, but when a user logs on the system
creates the needed shares they are:
H: for homes (default, i think)
Other 2 shares for apps needed
and Z: share also mapped to the home folder.
