Hello list I am having the following problem with samba wins server: 1. my servers record are desapearing from wins database. this servers(computers) are never turned off, and once or twice a week the wins records just vanish and I have to restart the server to register itself again with

Hello list I have a network with about 4k workstations. I have a few dozen servers (win 2k, nt4, so on) and a bunch of PDC and DBCs. In this network I have only one wins server that used to run on a windows 2k server. I was having a lot of problems with this server and decided to use samba
