case the result can be incorrect.
I'd suggest you to use a real print accounting system for CUPS instead.

(aka PCLXL) and ESC/P2 are supported.
PyKota also supports hardware accounting if your printer supports this.

set the dn value to the dn used to do the LDAP search

NB : the latest CVS versions of PyKota don't support LPRng anymore,
because LPRng support will be completely rewritten real soon now.

CUPS internal print quota mechanism is currently limited in that
all users have the very same limits.
