I am attempting to setup a Samba printserver to replace our Windows Print
servers.
I have defined a few printers in CUPS, some raw, and some not.
When I use the GUi to upload the drivers, The dialog works, however after

To get a clean compile of Samba 2.2.8 on HPUX 11.00 I do the following:
(NOTE: I use gcc to compile. The fix forces the HPUX ld for linking. )

This is an old problem with samba and HPUX.
You need to create a default user and group. The nobody account doesn't
work.
I used:
smbguestuid 32766 gid 32766
smbgroupgid 32766
Then add the following to your smb.conf global area:
guest account = smbguest
That should clearup
