Hello,
I installed samba3.0 on my debian machine to act as a PDC. Everything
seems to be working. The only problem is that I get errors reading
and writing back to the profile. When I log in or log out, it gives
me an error saying some file cannot be written. When I check the
profiles folder
i'm running samba3.0 on a debian machine as a pdc. i can log in and
the profile loads but only parts of it get loaded some of the
shortcuts and start menu items are not there. Also there is no copy
of the profile on the server. can someone please tell me what might
be happening or what i might
I set up my debian machine as a samba pdc. I added root as a samba
user. In the smb.conf I added the domain admin group = @wheel and
domain admin user = root. The only discreptancy I can see is that I
don't have the group wheel. I tried setting that to root but when I
try to add my winxp
I don't know if this makes sense but it seems that i'm running version 3.
