I'm contacted by a lot of companies that want me to review their products.
Most of them are decent, but don't live up to the standards of the other
products on my site. However, after reviewing SirLook, I was very
impressed with SirLook, because they offer a service that
permissions! Egad! What can I do about it?
I want to see the normal permissions I'm used to seeing under
NFS. I want to be able to chmod things just as I always did
under NFS.
I want Samba to be a better NFS.
Thanks!

it appears that MS04-012 (828741) is the problem... (at least on XP Pro)
I first removed MS04-011 (835732) and no luck, but then removed MS04-012
and get a successful password change message.

I have samba 3.0.1-2 installed on red hat 8 box. I am getting an error
when I try to authenticate to this server.
make_server_info_info3: pdb_init_sam failed!
I have searched for hours and can't find an answer as to what this error
is caused by. Can someone at least point me in the right
to some good educating materials would greatly be
appreciated.

the Globals button. Well I don't have a Globals button (just Home, Status,
View Password) and I would be more than grateful for any suggestions on
how I find the missing button.
Thanx in Advance
