I recently upgraded samba from samba-2.2.1a-4 to samba-2.2.7-2.7.2 on Red
Hat 7.2 and a guest share stopped working.
The share is defined as:
[test]
comment = Test
path = /test
browseable = yes
guest ok = yes
guest account = intranet
writable = yes

I think this belong in the global section...
Thanks, that fixes it. Funny, my smb.conf man page has guest account (S)
which should put it in the service section.
