Matlab when installed on a samba 3.4.x share is not working.
(it works with 3.3.x and earlier versions)
The application stops with a java related message.
(matlab -nojvm works)
the detailed log messages and Google led me to bug 6837.
Even if this bug is said to be Windows 7 related,
