Correct. That is why samba has a 'browseable = [ Yes | No]' option. Go figure. Which, in turn, leaves the share still visible in Network Neighborhood etc, as I initially reported. Go figure. :) IMX browseable = No in the share section doesn't hide the share from appearing in Net Neighborhood
