Do any of you know of a way to get perms such as they
are in a Windows PDC in Samba?
What I mean is;
dir /a/b/c/d
condition;
1) dir abc cannot be deleted
2) dir d can be deleted
3) files in dir ab cannot be deleted
but can be created
4) files in dir cd can be deleted

(a sort of template) and have just renamed the dirs
