Thank you forthe hint, biut all of the rights look ok on the machines I've
checked. I have also found that the problem persists for a user no matter
which machine they try to log onto.

sometimes we have a problem with w2k/xp machines with the same message:
the reason is broken userrights

Recently upgraded from Redhat 6.2 and Samba 2.2.6.
Up until a couple of weeks ago roaming profiles for WindowsXP machines were
working fine. Now, they only work for me. All other users get a warning
message saying the roaming
