returns no results. Trying net rpc group -S nuada on our master server

I'm running Samba 3.0.14a-6ubuntu1 on Ubuntu for my file server. All the
other computers are running Windows XP.
As I understand it, by using the same username/pw combo for the Windows
sign-in as for Ubuntu and Samba, users should never have to log in manually.

I update my samba PDC from the 2 release to the 3 one and let my old
ldap release with the old shema (so using ldapsam_compat ).
All seem work fine (users can connect from windows in the domaine ) but
the root samba (uidnumber=0) which name is manager couldn't login, so i

If you don't have tdbsam, you must use the standard unix tools, /etc/shadow.
Update to tdbsam, is trivial to do that.
