Hi All,
The bundled "samba-schema-netscapeds5.x" file provides the schema for Samba
2.2.x attributes not 3.x. I have successfully imported this schema into the

This created posixAccount objects but not sambaAccount obje

I'll just make a few assumptions.
First, you'll have to create a unix account with the name Administrator, and
then use smbpasswd -a to give the guy the necessary samba info. In order to

It sounds like you have roaming profiles setup... although it doesn't
quite look like they are setup in your smb.conf file. When roaming
profiles are setup, the win clients will transmit all the data you
mentioned to the samba PDC so that if you were to login from some other
win client,

That should work correctly.
But, you may wish to wait for Samba 3.0. which supports UTF-9 instead,
because you'll probably have to do the whole thing again.

After changing from samba 2.2.7 to 3.0.rc2 I can't get roaming profiles

I've also switched from smbpasswd backend to ldap. Logon path is only

Storing of profiles is working but it takes very long.
