This might not be necessary, but an entry in the /etc/ldap.conf might
help if one LDAP-server goes down:
URI ldap://localhost:389/ ldap://other-server:389/
nsswitch can use other-server if localhost doesn't provide
ldap-services any more.

I had the exact same problem when I started running a Samba PDC. My
passdb backend was an OpenLDAP server however (which is the same
physical server). In this case, the Samba account users should be able
to login to the Samba server also and that I achieved by configuring
pam_ldap on
Any more updates for the printing issues and Samba 3.0.9? Do the patches
for 3.0.10 apply for 3.0.9?

MySQL. All i did was simply copy over the needed files (profiles and
