just fine. On the other setup, We can login to the local machine, map
drives over as the user, all looks good. We then join the domain, and
that works

Since you've been talking about this I decided I should get around to
trying it. I used the Apple Color LaserWrite PS driver (and several
others), but I don't get any output on the Linux side. I used:
[smbpdf]
comment = PDF Generator
path = /var/spool/samba
printable = Yes
public = yes
Is there a tool to edit the idmap to cleanup old entries? I have
entries in there that aren't needed anymore and wanted to delete the
files and cleanup the user info.
Thanks,

I noticed on our setup I had to turn user and group enumeration off in
order to work, but I think that all depends on how big your setup is. I
can't do -u or -g as we have too many objects and it will eventually
choke.

I've been using winbind successfully for awhile now for user info
(nothing in /etc/passwd), but today I tried to use it to pull group

I have only been on the list a short while today, but mostly see winbind
questions...is there a definitive how-to for winbind and maybe faq?
Seems we need some better documentation with everyone having
questions/problems...
