Win XP. My problem comes when I try to access these same files using
Visual Basic 6. The dir() command in VB6 does not see the files or the
folder. I have tried the same on a Win 95 PC with the same results.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John Seiler

I have gotten samba to allow an xp client to logon to the domain server
before, my problem now is doing exactly that on a different machine.
I can browse files, but I get an access is denied error upon join.

help is greatly
appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I think the fastest way to list the bulk of them is to run testparm |
more
it will test your config then list other options
Always make sure you know what you are doing when you change an option.

one duplicate the SID, is that possible with 'smbpasswd -S'
from the new Samba DC?
the Sys id is in the MACHINE.SID file that is usually in the same dir as
your smbpasswd file.
