I had weird issues that I am running into.
1. I have manually updated security = ads entry in /etc/samba/smb.conf
but when I run testparm on the samba configuration file I didnot notice
this security line,its not just one line and I have noticed few other lines
missing, sure what going on

i have some trouble with my samba setup (v3.4.5 or 3.3.10).
the server is not responding (or very slow) for some minutes
in log.winbindd-idmap i get:

After a quite long period wehere samba was wroking well, sudenly, with
an apparently good reason started do not work. This mean the user are
not able to connect to server, to samba shares.

When attempting to authenticate a valid domain user of which the samba
is a valid domain member server I am recieving this error in the

When I try and telnet into my linux machine I get the message Connection closed by
Foreign Host. Anybody know what this means. It creates the users home directory but
