getent passwd and wbinfo -u returns

More info, with 'winbind use default domain = yes' in smb.conf on the
client, 'getent group linuxusers' returns the info. Remove 'winbind use
default domain = yes' from smb.conf and restart nmbd,smbd winbind,
'getent group linuxusers' now

Remove it and do a 'getent group HOME\\linuxusers' and see if that
works. Should explain why you need the user default domain in there.

I have 2 systems that are member servers in Samba PDC-LDAP domain.
Both running CentOS 4.2. Initially setup one server and everything
worked fine.
Copied over the conf files and modified for the second server.
wbinfo -u worked
wbinfo -g worked
getent passwd worked
getent group failed
