hi,
i've a problem with samba 3.0.2. there is one windows ME client which used to work with out any problems. now, as soon as the user connects (sharelevel: user, or share - i've tried both) on smbd is forked which causes 90 to 100% cpu load. when i stop samba (smbd/nmbd) this proces does not die i can only get rid of it whit a kill -9. with this no data can be transfered from or to the win ME client.
this is what a level 2 log stats:

norbert (192.168.0.4) connect to service windows initially as user norbert (uid=1000, gid=1000) (pid 10759)
and top shows:

any suggestions ?
