information about setting up udev.
I got some better activity and feedback, from this command :
SANE_DEBUG_SNAPSCAN=255 scanimage -L
However, it hangs at sane_snapscan_get_d

I'm having some troubles with the tiff header: i'm using sti
ng) will debug the main SANE
engine, and there are variables for various backends such as AVISION, HP,
etc.
