Quite a few recent scanners have the ability to output jpeg data, including most fujitsus. I have been contracted to extend sane to support this capability. I can keep the modifications private, or i can try to get them included in sane proper (which i prefer). Therefore, I have reviewed the

Hi I am having a problen with xsane starting I keep getting this error message. open of device genesys:libusb:/dev/usb0:/dev/ugen0 failed: Error during device I/O I am using freebsd 6.1 and everything was working till I did a recent update via portupgrade. I am using a Canon LiDe60 scanner.
