Hi,
Not doing so will make for a lot of big commits.
And? What's the point? As long as the build system updates are
self-contained and not mixed with other changes in the tree, we
couldn't care
. Julien mentions versioning issues
and broken deployment but I have little experience with that.
# FWIW, iscan requires autoconf = 2.60 and automake = 1.7.
Hope this helps,

[switching sane build system to autotools]
You (and others on this list) have more experience
up with you. That'll be fine. Even more: it should be simple to
use the very same scan mechanism as is used for USB devices, the only
exchange is :usbid vs. :scsi in the search. I'm going to look into that.
Take care

started out with SANE's build system
and I've converted it to use autotools a few years ago.

allocated, the further steps could remain as they are now.
The naming convention just came to my head - nothing I would insist to use.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
Changes to epkowa.desc (against the CVS snapshot of 2008-12-18) are
attached. If some kind soul with commit privileges could add these
I'd be grateful, yet again.
Done.
Thanks!
