Hi Art, For your scanner you need to use SANE's Development (git) Version: http://www.sane-project.org/lists/sane-backends-cvs.html#S-PIXMA The ADF is buggy. If you still want to test your device, please install SANE 1.0.25git as described in README.linux: http://www.sane-project.org/docs.html.
