I had a new position come open in *Milwaukee, WI for a 3 week project for a
.NET Developer. It is to start 12/9 and go through the end of the year*.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work to develop a front-end interface and GUI for the user consumption of
an in-house developed Letter Management system. Work efforts will include…
• Development of a search and results screen for available letters based on
letter title and/or order number information.
• Development of a Letter display page converting a combination of RAW HTML
values and placeholder variables into a formatted letter, with options to
print and/or email.
• The utilization and expansion of an in-house developed model library.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates ideally would possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related
discipline, with minimum five years of relevant application development
experience. A strong technical foundation in application development
practices including understanding the principles of project management is
required. Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem solving, organizing,
planning, decision making, communications and client relations are also
required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
It is strongly desired that the candidate be experienced with one or more
of the following tools/platforms: ORACLE, PL/SQL, C#.Net, MVC, VB.Net,
ASP.Net. Experience with web development using model view architecture a
definite plus, familiarity with Work Management and/or Letter Management
systems would be beneficial. Demonstrated ability to communicate
effectively with clients and team members is required.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Expected development to be executed within a tight timeframe, potentially
with the need to work near or during the holiday season.
