*Position: PMO (Admin)Location: Houston, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months* American citizen or a green card holder required *Brief Description of Job Duties* - Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete - Provide assistance with maintenance and improvement to the project management framework - Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information - Assist and advise project managers and project teams to the best use of the defined project management methodology - Track and report on project portfolio performance - Develop positive relationships with managers and staff to enable the PMO to provide project support - Mentor PMO staff on the use of defined methods, processes, and procedures - Maintain PMO SharePoint site *Special Skills Required* - Extensive IT PMO experience in an enterprise environment; knowledge of PMO and project management best practices and metrics - Experience using enterprise-level PPM tools including MS Project Server and SharePoint - Understanding of project monitoring and control processes - Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, collaboration, and assertiveness - Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
