*Duration: 9 month contract* The client seeks Web application testers with experience testing Java/WebSphere/Oracle based applications for our client located in San Mateo, CA. *Required Skills:* · 4+ years’ experience testing Java/Websphere/Oracle based applications including: o Worked with application development teams and business users to analyze functional requirements, user stories and wireframes. o Developed and validated test requirements. o Created test models for testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data. o Planned/designed/written complex, integrated, reusable test cases and scenarios for high traffic web-based applications. o Executed and coordinated monitoring of performance tests. · Tools experience using formal Requirements and Test management software packages such as: o Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) o VersionOne o Agile Processes o Microsoft Products · Able to coordinate the creation Technical Requirement Documents (TRD), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Requirement Traceability Metric (RTM) · Knowledge of Unix Operating System and Utilities · Able to enter Defect Reports and coordinate resolution with software developers · Able to perform knowledge transfer and walkthrough · Able to troubleshoot production problems The client conducts an extensive drug and background check policy prior to allowing you to go onsite.
