This position will work with the R2R team at the Muriel Street location working on the Hyperion suite of applications, primarily the Hyperion Costing Analytics (HYC) application. R2R is in need of expert level PL/SQL skills to support & develop changes to the Oracle Operational Data Store (ODS) within the HYC application. *Major responsibilities: * · Writing PL/SQL code & helping to tune where needed · Understanding HYC requirements and issues and working with R2R, ERP team, technical developers, DBAs, and Oracle Support to meet these requirements and resolve issues · Performing thorough testing of application changes and adhering to standards and practices that meet Quality Management and ISO standards · Providing cross training to the R2R staff The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience with PL/SQL programming using advanced functions and developing complex PL/SQL code. The Candidate must have experience investigating issues, determining root cause, and developing and implementing the solution. The Candidate must have experience with difficult situations where multiple potential solutions options were available where they developed the advantages and disadvantages of the options including understanding performance impacts to the solution. · Develop comprehensive test plans, scripts and cases and perform unit and comprehensive testing with system developers to ensure overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables · Trouble shoot technical issues and problems, monitor progress against plan, and communicate status to Leads · Good verbal and written communication skills · Ensure requirements for changes follow client standard operating procedures for change control · Candidate must work well with a team. The PL/SQL changes will have a very close connection to the Hyperion Essbase scripts and code. · Candidate must be able to work with other developers and be able to learn the big picture of how all the components fit together. · Proven expertise in PL/SQL design and programming is a must. · Candidate will be expected to work independently to analyze and problem solve PL/SQL code as well as use advanced functions.
