*Role: Domain ArchitectLocation: Chicago ILDuration: 6+ Months Contract* Description: The candidate will be asked to review and improve existing DNS and DHCP architecture as well as create and update DNS and DHCP designs as appropriate for a modern enterprise. In addition, this candidate will be expected to lead a DNS zone file consolidation effort, a DHCP migration effort and put efforts into organizing the enterprise IP Schema. This candidate will be expected to be a DNS and DHCP SME for the enterprise, understand the environment at an expert level, participate in training L1 and L2 operational support teams and remain current on changes and advancements in DNS and DHCP technologies. Skillset Details Five years’ experience in network engineering and support for DNS and DHCP; Significant competence in fundamental DNS concepts such as Forwarding, Recursion, Caching, and Delegation; Significant experience in troubleshooting DNS issues; Experience with DNS security technologies including DNSSec and DNS Firewalls; Experience with complex DNS data migrations including consolidating overlapping reverse lookup zone files; Experience with complex DHCP migrations from one platform to a different platform; The Analyst is responsible for the design, planning and delivery of scalable, flexible, manageable and resilient support platforms across varied network technologies; Experience with InfoBlox (DHCP, DNS, IPAM), F5, and Windows DHCP and DNS.
