Hi, Client is looking for a *QA Analyst* with *Healthcare exp* for *a 6+ months contract in Helena, MT* .This is for a healthcare industry and prefer people who have prior BCBS experience . He /She will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, developing test cases, reporting results, documenting defects, and working with Application Developers to debug problems. The Quality Assurance Analyst is also responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, including the automation and enhancement of existing testing processes and procedures. The QA Analyst will ensure that applications and configuration meet quality standards by leading testing efforts in corporate and departmental projects. *DUTIES:* · Develop, maintain, implement, and publish test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). · Perform integration, system (i.e. functional, performance), and "ad-hoc* testing in accordance with Quality Assurance standards. · Evaluate and test new or modified applications and procedures to verify that they conform to user requirements and guidelines. · Work closely with other personnel to ensure test plans, test scenarios/cases, and test results are completed according to schedule and support business and system requirements. · Develop test scenarios and test cases, document test results, track and communicate defects, and perform correction activities. · Develop manual and automated test scripts. · Provide training and mentoring on testing processes, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality goals. · Document Quality Assurance practices. · Recommend and implement QA process improvement ideas. · Stay current on industry trends, events, and emerging * technologies* as they relate to QA. *REQUIREMENTS:* · Experience in the health care or related industry. · Experience with testing tools (prefer HP Quality Center). · Functional knowledge of technical document writing. · Bachelor Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. · 5+ years software testing experience including test plan development and execution, testing concepts, tools, and methodologies. · 5+ years experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. · 4+ years experience in test automation (i.e. Visual Basic, VBA, Quickest Pro). · 4+ years experience working with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle or Microsoft Access). *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.* *Full Name:* *Degree Major:* *Total experience as a QA Analyst :* *Total experience with creating and executing test plans:* *Total experience with health care or related industry:* *Total experience with testing tools (prefer HP Quality Center)* *Total experience with Software Development Life Cycle:* *Total experience with test automation (i.e. Visual Basic, VBA, Quickest Pro):* *Total experience with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle or Microsoft Access):*** *Expected Hourly:* *Whether is it c2c/W-2?
