*Lead PL/SQL with Data Cleansing* *Downtown Sacramento CA* *6 months to 2 years contract* *Local candidates that can interview in person* Minimum of four (4) years of experience serving in a lead role overseeing and coordinating legacy system cleansing and conversion teams on a project that included performing legacy system consolidation and migration to an enterprise application including data gathering, strategizing consolidation, disposition, data cleansing, planning for legacy data conversion, and interacting with customers for a large-scale software project implementation Mandatory Skills - Four (4) years experience in a Lead position managing Legacy data conversion / cleansing methodologies / processes. - Three (3) years experience writing PL/SQL queries/scripts/stored procedures. - Two (2) years experience working with extract programs from various legacy data sources (for example, relation database and Mainframe flat files). - Thorough understanding and experience with ETL processes and concepts - Strong quantitative skills, knowledge of Excel <https://gv142.isrefer.com/go/wso15/wsoasis/>, strong process skills, and experience using document management tools (for example, SharePoint) - Ability to manage fluctuating workloads, understanding of quality standards and consistent checking of own work upon completion of each task - Good communication skills since this position interacts with agency and department staff - Experience with SQL Loader and ODI is a plus. Responsibilities: A. Perform Conversion / Outreach process architecture analysis, recommend process automation improvements, and manage the implementation of approved improvements: 1. Understand FI$Cal system’s current Conversion / Outreach processes and activities. 2. Update / Document process improvement recommendations and obtain FI$Cal approval 3. Update / Document roles and responsibilities for the improved processes. 4. Lead and execute with FI$Cal staff and consultants the implementation of process improvements 5. Lead and execute with FI$Cal staff and consultants the ongoing Conversion/ Outreach activities. B. Lead, Mentor, and support Conversion programs in support of Departmental Legacy systems’ Conversion efforts: 1. Lead and Support the Conversion programs through the FI$Cal Conversion effort 2. Lead and Support the extension programs in support of FI$Cal data conversion effort 3. Lead and execute with FI$Cal staff and consultants the ongoing conversion/ Outreach activities. 4. Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to FI$Cal technical staff for each of the data conversion programs and Outreach processes C. Guide and assist FI$Cal staff by providing expert knowledge for interactions with the System Integrator on issues regarding FI$Cal/Departmental systems data cleansing, and other data migration / development activities. D.
