*San Francisco CA* *Pega Testing * The Pega PRPC Quality/Test Lead is responsible for estimating, planning, developing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases. This position requires leveraging an understanding of the application environment as well as requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with testing best practices and functional requirements. The position requires strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and communications skills. The candidate must demonstrate ownership and follow-through in a fast paced, mission critical environment while working collaboratively with a wide range of technical and non-technical personnel. *Primary Responsibilities:* § Review documentation and work with business and technical team to determine testable requirements § Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. § Create and maintain test cases, defects in Jira. § Ability to prioritize and be responsible for the execution of project tasks in a high-pressure environment. § Must be able to work in a team environment § Working Knowledge of the system development lifecycle § Develop and actively participate in build test automation using Java and/or other technologies § Perform reviews of automation and application code § Should be able to think out of box and not only rely on acceptance criteria from business/leads § Proactive voice of QA in discussions with development, business analysis, systems analysis, and user acceptance testing.
