Position: Web Developer Location: Middletown,NJ(LOCAL ONLY) Type: 6 months + extensions (revolving)
MUST HAVES: - 5-7 strong years of Java Web development and experience using the J2EE event listener/notifier model (MVC, Java beans, net beans) - Strong knowledge/experience with Javascript, JQuery, node, and HTML 5 development experience - Strong experience in at least one of the following web development environments: python, PHP, Ruby on Rails or Java Servlets - Experience developing real time applications and working with real time communications or real time network protocols (SIP, IETF, RTC, RTCP) - Ability to work as a self-starter, pick up new technologies well, and work/develop without very specific requirements - Knowledge of WebRTC PLUSES: • Hands on experience with Web RTC • Experience in more than one of the previous mentioned web development environments DAY TO DAY: Client is looking for 3 strong web developers who will be working on a project to build web RTC media services and tools for application developers who would use those services. They are looking to complete this project within 6 months dividing the work load between the three web developers. Web RTC is an HTML 5 package for real time communications in a browser. Knowledge of Web RTC would be a huge plus, but it is an emerging technology, so a strong java web developer with the ability to learn quickly is what we are looking for. The media server platform that these developers will be building is based on Java and J2EE event listener/notifier model. The tools that these developers will be building are for current web developers that use Javascript, JQuery, Nodes, and HTML 5. The environment is a mix of web development environments, so knowledge of python, PHP, Ruby on Rails or Java Servlet is very important.
