*Job Title : Netbackup Admin with Commvault Simpana ExperienceLocation : Weehawken, NJDuration : 6-12+Months ContractJob Roles / Responsibilities:* As a member of regional Level-3 backup team, responsible for backup infrastructure in America regions. Manage, configure and maintain all aspects of the backup infrastructure in large multi-location/multi-tiered environment. Provide daily system backups, troubleshooting, new configuration and disaster recovery support. Participate in team's on-call rotation to provide off hour and weekend support. Perform root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems. Responsible for backup infrastructure health check, testing, deployment, migrations, patch, upgrade and change management. Auditing and regulatory support. *Qualifications and Requirements:* Preferred: In-depth knowledge on latest versions of CommVault Simpana with at least 3 years hands on experience Acceptable: In-depth knowledge and work experience on Veritas NetBackup products 5 years hands on experience on server backups or Windows/Unix administration in large enterprise production environment, financial industry preferred In depth understanding on tape libraries and associated tape hardware/software like StorageTek, ACSLS, LTO5. Hands on experience on backups of NDMP, VMware and Exchange. Knowledge of EMC Data Domain technologies. Expertise on Windows administration. Unix/Linux system administration skills would be a big plus. Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking. Experience in performance, tuning and capacity planning is required; as is experience with proactive monitoring and automation. Relevant experience on high availability, business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) planning. Expected to work with Local and remote team members, regionally and globally.
