Title: IT System Test Lead / System Tester posted on 2014-10-29 14:38:05 Job Description:Contractor resource is required to perform system testing coordination/lead responsibilities, in addition to actual system testing services for the doeASCENT implementation. This is a new ASP system being implemented at organization and involves several interfaces to internal organization systems. Qualifications: • Develop Test strategy, Test Plan and Test summary reports • Conduct overall system testing coordination, and serve as a lead for the system testing process. • Coordinate with project developers and team members in deployment of changes and defect fixes in test environment. • Provide metrics and project planning updates for the testing effort. • Understand business and functional requirements and develop test cases, scenarios and expected results based on those. • Participate in requirements and design reviews. Lead Test Plan and specifications review. • Create Requirement Traceability Matrix • Execute and test the functional scenarios for a test effort. • Work with development, Business, QA, production support and infrastructure engineers to determine root cause of execution and functional problems. • Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both technical issues and process issues.
