EEI is looking for a Senior Teradata Architect/Subject Matter Expert in
support of a Performance Optimization initiative for a large global
financial institution.  The Teradata Architect will be responsible for
advising and facilitating on operating principles, standards and best
practice guidelines.

*Job Duties: *

   - Work closely with and assist the application owners to evaluate
   existing usage, implementation, processing performance and root cause
   analysis (incidents and outages)
   - Evaluate existing standards against industry practices
   - Document and assess current use cases
   - Review roadmap, implementation plan and upgrade path
   - Identify operational improvement opportunities including the
   elimination of manual intervention
   - Facilitate adoption and implementation of performance enhancements &
   new features
   - Evaluate integration with other solutions including DProp and
   Informatic


*Required Skills/Background:*

   - 10-15 years Teradata experienced
   - Subject Matter Expertise in Teradata Data Architecture Practices and
   Standards
   - Relevant experience in Teradata:
      - Unified Data Architecture
      - Database
      - Active/Enterprise Data Warehouse
      - Tools & Utilities
   - Skilled and experienced in Teradata Optimization & Strategy related
   engagements
   - Experienced and knowledgeable in Enterprise Data & Infrastructure
   Standards
   - Experienced in analyzing, troubleshooting and apply best practice for
   usage
