The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst positionmust have knowledge
and wide-ranging experience withMicrosoft SQLAnalysis Services (SSAS) and
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). In addition a successful
candidate will have experience withdata warehousing and business
intelligence systems.The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst will
be responsible for design and development of reports, dashboards and ad-hoc
queries. The position calls for someone who is comfortable working with
clients as well as state and federal agencies to discover requirements,
then formulate them into solutions.
primary responsibilities
· Design and develop reports using MS SQL Reporting Services(SSRS)
· Deploy, maintain and generate reports from a data warehouse
· Capable of gathering requirements from clients and agencies,
understandingthe user’s requirement and convertingrequirements into
functional/technical specifications and developing a strategy for designing
and building Business Intelligence solutions.
· Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design
of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs
· Publish and integrate reports into Microsoft SharePoint
· Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure intelligence is consistent
with defined needs
· Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the
accurate development of reporting solutions
· Maintain library of model documents, templates or other reusable
knowledge assets
· Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards or
other tools
· Createworking prototypes for our sales team to use as
demonstrations for potential clients
Education and experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent
· 3+years’ experience developing reports in MS SQL Server Reporting
Services (SSRS)& Visual Studio
· 3+ years’ of combined experience in data warehousing/business
intelligence/analytics and reporting systems
· 1+ year of MS SharePoint experience
· 1+ year experience with MS SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
· 1+ year experience with MS SQL Analysis Services (SSAS)
· 1+ year ETL scripting experience
· Experience with data warehouse creation desirable, but not
required
· Experience with Crystal Reports and have the ability to interact
and analyze existing reports
· Knowledge of SQL Profile, query execution plans and SQL tuning
techniques
· Knowledge of QA testing to make sure new functionality works
properly
· Preferred candidate will have programming experience and
knowledge of software development tools including: VB.Net, Visual Basic 6,
ASP, C#, Power Pivot Visual Studio

The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer increases and
maintainsproduct quality by planning and performing automated and manual
software product testing activities (e.g. system, user acceptance, etc.)
during each sprint and as part of the release process.
This role is a first-class member of the Scrum team. The QA Automation
Engineer works side-by-side with the developers to (1) ensure that user
stories are testable, (2) determine how a particular user story can be
tested, (3) define and enhance user story acceptance criteria and (4)
determine if a user story is a candidate for automation. While the QA
Automation Engineer owns the testing function, product quality is
everyone’s responsibility on a Scrum team.
We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who can to adapt to
a changing environment. We are in the midst of building our
next-generation productwhile undergoing an agile transformation. This will
require critical thinking skills as it relates to testing software that is
“emergent”. You will join an Agile/Scrum team and focus on testing
automation.
Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible for working with the project team to define the scope
for testing within the context of each sprint / delivery
· Clearly communicate to relevant parties related to status of
testing activities
· Comprehend user stories to understand task items per story in the
context of all levels of testing (unit, functional, integration and
regression)
· Participate in story creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning
and release planning.
· Perform ad hoc / exploratory testing methodically to ensure
system is working as expected by end user
· Track testing progress and defects via OnTime
· Responsible for authoring automated test suites.
- Front end GUI via C# and Selenium Webdriver (Not Selenium IDE) / Sikuli
- Service layer testing using C# and one of NUnit, xUnit,
etc.Familiarity with Moq a plus.
- Backend SOAP XML using SOAP UI
- Please Note: The QA Automation Engineer will *author*C# code
(automation is *not* record and playback)
· Ensure proper documentation related to testing deliverables and
lessons learned
· Define, build and use utilities, tools and test suites as part of
a test automation architecture.
Qualifications
· Good experience coding in C#
· Excellent technical acumen and ability to learn new software
quickly
· Enthusiastic and fun individual with an attitude of team
empowerment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong knowledge of traditional testing methodologies and how it
applies to exploratory testing
· Experience with testing in an Agile environment
· Recent experience with the following tools/technologies: Visual
Studio (C#), MS SQL Server, XML, TFS
· Knowledge of test driven development (TDD) and the virtues of
unit testing
· Experience in higher education environment is a plus
· Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical discipline, or 5
years’ experience in a technical industry as a quality assurance
professional
