They need to be articulate and be able to communicate effectively to the client business unit executives. They DO NOT want candidates who just want to hide behind the curtain and not be bothered all day.* *They need to be great in both their technical skills and their soft skills. * *They want to see candidates with Data Center and Operations Center backgrounds. They DO NOT want candidates who have worked at mom and pop shops. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc. are good backgrounds to look for.* *The candidates NEED 3-5 years network operations experience with MPLS networks.* *Candidate must be fluent in Visio, good knowledge of server systems and applications desired, but not required.* *This is a mapping and drawing exercise only*; there is no design work involved for this phase of the engagement. If the candidates are looking to do design or architecture work, then this assignment is not for them. *Position overview:* - Implements network and security infrastructure best practices within the IT operations infrastructure. - Assists in the collection of client infrastructure topology data. - Assists in the development and refinement of infrastructure design models using Unisys standard asset discovery and infrastructure modeling tools. - Successful provisioning as well as supervision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. - Installation of new systems, rebuilding existing systems, configuration of hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with customer/ government standards. - Assists the client in configuring and testing the deployed infrastructure to achieve client sign-off. - Maintains, monitors and troubleshoots within the roles of Incident Management (Return-to-Service) and/or Problem Management (Reason for Outage). - Contributes to the preparation and presentation of technical trade-offs and Total Cost of Ownership results to managers, customers and peers. - Ensures proper documentation for the corporate knowledgebase, including design, procedural and lessons learned. - This also includes maintaining and updating existing documentation - Monitors the Network and System Enterprise with provided tools to ensure the overall security of the critical client solutions. - Contributes to technical artifacts through team/program SharePoint’s and/or Stealth and Security communities of practice. - Participates in pre-sales client engagements, such as Workshops, Proof of Concepts and demonstrations, and provides input on infrastructure architectural designs, blueprints, integration of infrastructure architecture artifacts, and asset management/ reuse resulting in the creation and deployment of world-class solution. *Experience:* - A minimum of 3 years of experience in networks and security infrastructure. - Knowledgeable in network security procedures, best practices, and implementation. - Experience participating in technical presentations to a variety of clients, and designing and integrating client solutions involving multiple systems across an entire unit or organization. - Proficient documentation skills are required. - Ability to troubleshoot software issue and customer applications as required. - Demonstrates specialist knowledge in Unisys Stealth Solutions. - Able to analyze the technical and business requirements for a specific information systems technology, and design and implement the infrastructure required. - Has achieved industry standard certifications: CISSP, Security+, CCNP, CCNA, Network+, MCSA. - Highly knowledgeable on security and network tools including: network monitors, firewalls, VPN’s - Experienced in technical writing. - knowledgeable in cryptography; Symmetric versus Asymmetric Keys, AES, PKI, Hash Functions, Digital Certificates - Experience deploying or integrating solutions in various Authentication Schemes e.g. LDAP, Radius, Kerberos, Multi-Factor, Smartcard concepts (HSPD-12 vs. CAC), One Time Password (OTP),etc. - Advanced Host and Network Troubleshooting skills – TCP dumps, Network Debug Tools, etc… *IT INTELLECTS* *[image: e-verify]* 1125 Victoria Blake Ln Belmont, NC 28012 - 6529 USA *Mohammed Siraj* *Work: 828 202 6177* *Fax: 732 359 1525* *si...@itintellects.com <si...@itintellects.com>** | * *www.itintellects.com* <http://www.itintellects.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
