*Job Title: SOA/Websphere Integration Developer * *Location(s): USA-VA-Ashburn Duration: 1 year* *Responsibilities The selected candidate will support exciting, ground-breaking SOA platform implementation in the highly evolving Media acquisition, processing and distribution industry involving hot technologies like internet video streaming to the latest consumer devices, cloud computing, high-performance computing datacenters, and global-scale internetworking The selected candidate will be a SOA/Websphere Integration Developer with strong understanding of SOA implementations involving J2EE, IBM Websphere Middleware and service governance(WAS, WESB, WSRR), Oracle DB, and underlying Network/Infrastructure (Server & Storage) considerations. Knowledge of IBM BPM Advanced (Includes BPM and WPS) is a huge plus. Additional favorable consideration given to candidates with knowledge of media (video/audio) processing workflows such as those used for media transcoding, packaging, encryption, distribution etc Qualifications 3 - 5 years hand's on experience with developing, deploying and supporting applications in production environments using Websphere Application Server (WAS), WebSphere ESB (WESB), WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) and Service Oriented Architectures Able to develop and modify mediations/modules, custom data handlers, XSLT and Business Object mapping in WESB and WPS Experience with Java/J2EE programming and Web Service development and Governance. Experience with Oracle database tables, queries, and stored procedures (Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 acceptable) Experience integrating with Enterprise Information Systems including ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP. BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Related Field, with 5 to 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in using IBMs BPM Advanced (BPM and WPS) to develop long running business processes which requires - Human tasks/manual interactions - Compensation handler, - Transaction roll-back, - remote SCA call, - async vs. sync web service calls.
