A lot of cite survey work, so very basic Network Engineer* *Position Purpose:* The successful Network Engineer 3 – Support is responsible for the support of the physical network system and the hardware used to establish the WAN connectivity at each location. This includes providing tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. He/she is responsible for support of all data and voice cabling within each branch as well as the support of the routers and switches that are used for communications at each location. Responsible for documenting the infrastructure for each location, the Network Engineer develops processes and procedures that will ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible. He/she will also review the infrastructure at each location to ensure compliance to corporate standards and cost effectiveness. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* *The duties and responsibilities of the Network Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:* Assist in the support of all networking technologies. This includes LAN/WAN, voice, video, security – 20% Responsible for working with customers and vendors on making sound judgments, prioritizing and resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner –20% Assist network and/or server administrators, desktop support and end users with resolving problems and restoring the system back to a working configuration. Provide the necessary written instructions or revised documentation for problem resolutions. – 10% Evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations for new standards – 10% Provide daily verbal or e-mail updates of issues that may affect project target dates – 10% Provide a weekly written status of current projects and critical issues – 10% Responsible for all cabling, patch panels and rack infrastructure design and management in data rooms throughout the organization – 5% Selecting vendors to perform cabling and hardware installations and maintenance activities based on requirements, company standards and cost – 5% Best Regards, *Fredric Miller | Sr. Recruiter*Pull Skill Technologies, Inc.
